Donate A Shirt Program

You can help by sending us used or new shirts to be used to make display shirts. Donated shirts are placed in a basket at each display as we travel and are made available at no cost to any survivor. Woman survivors of violence use the shirts to design their own messages on the shirts to be added to our ongoing display.

Shirts are costly and this program has helped significantly - particularly in our work at shelters, universities, rallies, workshops and hospitals.

Please help us and send your shirts to:
The Clothesline Project Chicagoland & Suburbs™

12627 West 143rd Street ~ Homer Glen, IL 60441

  • Any clean, new or used plain shirt is welcome.
  • The material should be made of materials such as cotton that can be painted on, glued to or written on with fabric paints or markers.
  • The colors should be white, yellow, beige, green, red, pink, lavender or purple.
